Drudgereport font too large in Internet Explorer? Add it to “Compatibility View settings”

I have the Drudge Report set as my home page website. Given the re-installation of Windows 8.1, all of a sudden the font of the links appeared really large, even though the View Zoom was set to 100%, and the Text was Medium (in the View drop down of the Menu bar). Adding drudgereport.com to the gear in the upper right-hand corner, “Compatibility View settings”, fixed it.

But this doesn’t work 100% of the time…..

Apparently this might be the fault of anti-virus software Avast Online Security…..

EDIT: I disabled the Google Toolbar add-ons, and kept avast add-on. The fonts are okay now.

EDIT 2: I also disabled Avast add-on. No problems with Drudgereport.
