Every few weeks or so I get an email telling me what states have had their red light/speed camera/radar stops database updated. It almost always seems to be the same handful of states: Illinois, Maryland, New York, and Florida.
I called Customer Service for Escort Radar, and they agreed that these states, along with Arizona, have frequent update activity. The rep mentioned Texas and California, too. Texas surprised me, I wouldn’t have thought that Texas would have bothered with this revenue-generation nonsense.
It will get to the point where it will be pointless to own a radar detector, or even drive a car.
