VLC plug-in in Firefox – annoyingly worthless, how to disable

Somehow, I got the VLC plug-in on Firefox, and every time I tried to stream a video over the web, I got the VLC screen in the browser window, and the fucking video refused to play. Here is how to disable that shit:

Firefox calls plug-ins “Add-ons”. After that, it’s right in the Tools menu: Click Tools, Add-ons, scroll to VLC’s addon, click it, then click Disable.

Don’t get me wrong, the stand-alone VLC player is the best in the biz, but within a Firefox browser window, it just freezes up.
